My 16 Personalities Test Results

What is your personality type, traits, role, and strategy based on your 16Personalities test results?

I identify as a Protagonist ENFJ-A type of person. I got a 88% Extraverted, 81% Intuitive, 54% Feeling, 88% Judging, and 82% Assertive score on the 16 Personalities test results (16Personalities, n.d).

I am warm, empathetic, responsive, and responsible for my words and actions. I am highly attuned to the emotions and needs of others and like to help people. I have a relationship-oriented leadership style, focusing on my followers' well-being (Northouse, 2019). I like to create lasting bonds and relationships with others and create a positive atmosphere wherever I work. I can establish a strong suite of ground rules and motivate my followers to become better versions of themselves. I may act as a catalyst for individual and group change which can help move an issue in a positive direction (Sari & Bashori, 2020). When I engage with my peers, I maintain a positive outlook and give a helping hand to those in need. I am loyal and responsive to praise and criticism. When I base my strategies for leadership on praise and criticism, I create a pathway that can help support my dreams. In my 16Personalities test results, I learned I work effectively and efficiently with others with the same goals (16Personalities, n.d).

Do you agree your results? Why or why not?

I agree with my results because I gained a new sense of reacting to certain situations. Certain personality types can help workers understand how to work in a team environment with people that are different from themselves. Workers gain the ability to learn their teammate's work styles and traits that can help them become successful in the long term. Many community members driven to make a positive social change can engage with their peers on essential decisions (The Myers & Briggs Foundation, n.d.). Aspects of a relationship-style leader include consideration behavior, employee orientation, and a strong concern for people (Northouse, 2019). I can gain insightful information from my peers through camaraderie and respect for each other's strengths. I sometimes can be judgemental and confident in the tasks ahead, which helps me determine the best outcomes of given problems.

What have you learned from your results and how might this influence your development as a leader?

I learned that I make self-improvement a personal mission. I sometimes pressure myself if I need to prepare for critical deadlines. I can do tremendous good in this world because I am inquisitive. Being a protagonist can influence my leadership development because I like to be the initiator in certain leadership roles. I want to create new plans that can be easily interpreted and followed. I am a protagonist because I enjoy training new employees, volunteering at school, and giving motivational speeches. I can be very charismatic and determined to keep sight of my main goals while serving others. My results say I can connect with others and feel alive and purposeful (16Personalities, n.d). I like to care for friends and make my friendships a key component of a well-lived life. I usually like to surround myself around friends and acquaintances that have very different experiences from myself. This aspect of gaining strong relationship bonds to learn about new life experiences. My results influence my leadership development because I can be versatile and a strong multitasker. I like working on various projects simultaneously and finding the connections to achieve success. Leadership behaviors can emerge from a unique personality that emphasizes spiritual development to grow throughout a lifetime (Greasley & Bocarnea, 2014). My results allow me to look within myself to find the leadership traits that can help distinguish my organization from others. Many methods of leadership strategies help followers comprehend persons that can drive social changes.
